What happened
Nebraska put the Nebraska Navigator chatbot on Nebraska.gov on September 1, 2026, after an Ask the DMV pilot that started in December 2025. The governor's office said the pilot cut call volume 20%, received more than 188,000 questions, and served people in 50 languages. Navigator went live in public beta, with that testing expected to continue into October.
