Japan's Digital Agency added an AI agent function to Gennai, its generative AI platform available to about 180,000 government employees. The agent can carry out a series of tasks from one instruction, such as preparing, translating and sharing meeting minutes from uploaded audio. The agency said it is the first time a government body has offered an AI agent environment at this scale.
