California DGS launched Ask Ozzie, an AI chatbot on the OSDS webpage that answers routine certification questions for small businesses, disabled veteran businesses and nonprofits. The Procurement Division is launching it to help respond to the most common certification questions OSDS receives each year. DGS said more than two thirds of OSDS calls and emails involve routine certification topics. The chatbot routes users to staff when a topic needs human expertise.
